Coins for Christmas

A total of $15,100 was raised for Coins for Christmas, an ongoing fundraising and benefit program administered by East Idaho Credit Union that provides new shoes to less fortunate children in eastern Idaho.  The program was created on the simple philosophy of "kids helping kids" and on the power of the Christmas spirit.  The program provides an opportunity for children of all ages to donate their spare pocket change to fund the purchase of new shoes for less fortunate children in eastern Idaho.  Our fundraiser was a huge success once again, allowing East Idaho Credit Union to continue to provide new shoes for children throughout 2010.  A special thanks to our media partner, KFTZ/Z103 FM, for its continued support and to all the schools in eastern Idaho that participated in our fundraiser!
