Cashier’s Checks Available at all branch locations. A cashier's check could be used instead of a personal check to guarantee that funds for payment are available. A cashier's check is secured because the amount of the check must first be deposited by the individual into the issuing institution's account. A nominal fee applies.
Courtesy Pay Courtesy Pay is a service that adds a measure of protection to your checking account. Courtesy Pay is designed to cover insufficient funds checks, up to a $500.00 approved limit, for one low fee per covered overdraft transaction. That means, instead of returning a check to the merchant because of insufficient funds, the Credit Union may pay your check, saving you additional charges from the merchant collection companies, in addition to the Credit Union’s insufficient funds fee. It saves you the embarrassment an inadvertent overdraft can cause and helps protect your credit rating.

Direct Deposit Direct Deposit is an electronic payment service that allows your employer to send your pay directly to your Credit Union checking or savings account rather than issuing a paper check. These deposits arrive and are made available to you more quickly than paper checks and eliminate the need to go to the Credit Union every payday. Direct Deposit is the preferred way to get paid, due to its safety, speed and convenience.
East Idaho has arranged with many employee groups to provide Direct Deposit services. Contact your employer to determine if Direct Deposit is available at your workplace. All federal employees are eligible for direct deposit.

Payroll Deduction The Credit Union hs arranged with many employee groups to provide payroll deduction services. All federal employees are eligible to deduct a certain amount from their paycheck to be sent to the Credit Union for savings deposits, loan payments, or IRA deposits. Check with your employer to determine if you can participate in this program.
Telephone Teller If you don’t have access to the Internet, manage your account 24 hours a day with Telephone Teller. Telephone Teller is a free service for all Credit Union members. Personal account information is protected over the telephone using a personal identification number (PIN). Contact your nearest branch today to receive your PIN and begin using the Telephone Teller.
